1. Our Goal
This project aims to preserve accessibility of the beaches for the use and enjoyment by all. We are approaching this by working with the Municipality of Cóbano, restoring and making usable all zone public footpaths to the beach in the Hermosa area — many of which have remained unknown or impassable for years. Parking is also a growing challenge and is addressed as part of this initiative to provide organized options and reduce street congestion.
2. Project actions include:
Topographic surveys.
Clearing, marking, and reopening access paths.
Bridge construction.
Installation of signage identifying official beach accesses.
Construction of elevated boardwalks to allow year-round pedestrian and accessible passage through wet and low-lying areas.
