1. Our Goal
The Hermosa Community Center is a joint Municipality of Cóbano, INDER, and ACH initiative to create a community-use space supporting the social, educational, environmental, and economic
development of the San Martín–Hermosa community. A 1.2-hectare site designated by INDER and the Municipality, located north of Playa Hermosa (approximately 12,000 m²), has been selected as the future home of this integrated community, recreation and education center.
2. Project phases include:
Phase 1: Initiation & Community Consultation (2022-2024)
Phase 2: Conceptual & Feasibility Project Development (2025-2027)
Phase 3: Planning, Design & Agreements (2025 -2027)
Phase 4: Construction (Start: 2028)
Phase 5: Operations (Start: 2029)
In 2025, following the completion of the formal consultation process in 2024 and the definition of activities and programs by community members, the architectural and facilities design process begins.
