1. Our Goal
The Clean Water project grew from Hermosa’s everyday connection to its streams, rivers, and the ocean and its shared responsibility to protect both our health and local ecosystems. ACH works to protect and improve our waters through ongoing monitoring, identifying sources of contamination, and is working toward identifying practical corrective actions with the community. Results for intermittent testing conducted between 2023 and 2025 underscores the need to continue this collective effort.
2. Project actions include
Testing / monitoring of water quality.
Analyze the results and interpret the data so that it is useful for the community, to guide actions and decisions.
Identify sources of pollution and water health compromise.
Building a plan to address problems, including how to help community members participate and do their part.
