1. Our Objective
This project aims to strengthen safety in the Hermosa community through the active organization of its members, the implementation of immediate measures, and the development of a comprehensive safety strategy for the short, medium, and long term.
Through a collaborative approach between the community, private security, and public authorities, we seek to create a safer, more resilient environment that is better prepared to respond to current and future challenges.
2. Project Actions:
• Strengthening community safety through rapid-response actions, including the hiring of private security services for the community.
• Establishment of a Community Safety Committee.
• Development of a diagnostic assessment and design of a comprehensive safety plan tailored to Hermosa.
• Community organization for prevention and coordinated response.
• Advocacy to improve institutional capacity, including 24/7 prosecutorial services.
• Promotion of a police station in the northern zone (Manzanillo), in collaboration with the Manzanillo Development Association (ADI).
